A New Practical Arbitrary-Time Controller for a Class of Uncertain Nonlinear Systems

In this paper, a notion called practical arbitrary-time stability is proposed, and a sufficient condition based on Lyapunov stability theory is also given. For a class of unknown nonlinear systems, a practical arbitrary-time controller is designed using a radial basis function neural network and a backstepping technique. Finally, two numerical simulations are performed to illustrate the efficacy of the proposed method.

Abstract

In this paper, a notion called practical arbitrary-time stability is proposed, and a sufficient condition based on Lyapunov stability theory is also given. For a class of unknown nonlinear systems, a practical arbitrary-time controller is designed using a radial basis function neural network and a backstepping technique. Finally, two numerical simulations are performed to illustrate the efficacy of the proposed method.
