Load Frequency Control of Power Systems Under Cyber Attacks: A Memory-Based Event-Triggered Method
The load frequency control problem of multi-area power systems under external disturbances and denial-of-service (DoS) attacks is addressed in this paper. A cache module is introduced to design a memory-based event-triggered scheme based on state information and attack parameter, and the subsystems of the system during the dormant and active periods of DoS attack are established respectively. An input compensation strategy is adopted to obtain the exponential stabilization and <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$H$</tex><inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">∞</inf>performance criteria based on the Lyapunov method, and the co-design of event-triggering parameter and the controller gain is proposed. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by an example of a three-region power system.
