LCAS-Based Dynamic Adjustment of Ground Link Capacity for Design and Experiment

LCAS technology utilizes the VC virtual cascade to provide a non-destructive, dynamic adjustment mechanism of line capacity between the source and the host, carrying link control information through overhead bytes, and completing bandwidth increase and decrease as well as member blocking and restoration through handshake operations between the source and the host. Using LCAS technology, the capacity of the virtual cascade can be automatically adjusted by automatically deleting the failed VCs in the virtual cascade or adding normal VCs to the virtual cascade according to the size of the mapped service traffic and the required bandwidth in the actual application. During the adjustment process, the virtual cascade group size can be automatically adjusted and synchronized without interrupting the service, overcoming the shortcomings of SDH fixed rate and realizing dynamic adjustable bandwidth according to the user's demand.
