Optimization Method of Wind Turbine Short-Circuit Current and Reactive Power Support Key Parameters Based on Trajectory Sensitivity
Direct-drive wind power generators(PMSG) have become mainstream models and are widely used in power grids due to their advantages. However, the lack of quantitative analysis methods makes it difficult to assess the impact of control parameters on short-circuit current and reactive power support capability. To address this issue, this paper first derives the analytical expression of three-phase short-circuit current through Park transformation based on the active and reactive current calculation method of PMSG. Then, based on the trajectory sensitivity method, it quantitatively analyzes the impact mechanism of different control parameters on short-circuit current from three aspects: generator parameters, voltage drop coefficient, and PI parameters. The parameters with higher sensitivity are selected as the dominant parameters. Finally, combined with simulation, the paper studies the impact of key parameters of short-circuit current on the reactive voltage support capability of wind turbines. Based on this, an optimization method for key parameters of short-circuit current and reactive power support of PMSG is formulated. The research results show that the proposed method can enhance the reactive voltage support capability of wind turbines while ensuring the level of short-circuit current.
