Research on Railway Operational Accidents Analysis Method Based on Knowledge Graph
The occurrence of railway operational accidents is caused by various interrelated hazards. Through topological analysis of the characteristics and correlation of these hazards, targeted accident prevention strategies can be developed. In this paper, a new knowledge graph-based railway operational accidents analysis approach is proposed, aiming to reveal the potential rules of accidents by analyzing a large number of accident data. The novelty of this work lies in defining new topological indicators that are tailored for multidimensional network analysis, and facilitate the evaluation of hazards from multiple perspectives. In addition, a targeted accident analysis process is designed based on topological indicators. The analysis method is helpful to formulate the general prevention strategy for the hazard, so as to provide the basis for ensuring the safety of railway operation. This paper uses railway operational accidents in the UK as a case study. The results indicate that this method can discover the key hazards influencing the occurrence of accidents and provide targeted preventive measures.
