Attitude Control for High-Speed Vehicles Based on Non-Singular Fast Terminal Sliding Mode Active Disturbance Rejection

A non-singular fast terminal sliding mode active disturbance rejection control scheme is proposed for the attitude control problem of high-speed flight vehicles in the presence of external interference and uncertainty. Firstly, finitetime tracking differentiators are utilized to compute the derivative of the control signal and the guidance command, which can effectively solve the “explosion of complexity” problem in the backstepping method and enable the system to achieve the tracking in finite time. Secondly, finite-time state observers are designed to estimate vehicle model uncertainties caused by internal parameters changes, aerodynamic coefficient uncertainties and external environment disturbances, which can make all the above interference estimation errors converge to zero in finite time. Thirdly, a non-singular fast terminal slidingmode controller(NFTSMC) based on the backstepping control is presented to ensure the global stability and rapid convergence of the closed-loop system. Finally, a comprehensive numerical simulation is carried out to verify the effectiveness, stability, and robustness of the proposed scheme.
