APPLICATION OF THE WADIAH AGREEMENT TO EASY WADIAH SAVINGS PRODUCTS BASED ON FATWA DSN.MUI 36/DSN-MUI/IX/2002 AT BANK SYARIAH INDONESIA
Wadi'ah savings are deposits of customer funds in both rupiah and foreign currency at sharia banks, which are in the form of deposits and withdrawals can be made at any time and the bank deposits are not required to provide an imbalance except in the form of giving a voluntary bonus. This research aims to find out how the Wadi'ah contract is implemented in the Easy Wadi'ah Savings product at Bank Syariah Indonesia. The Wadi'ah contract applied at Bank Syariah Indonesia for the Easy Wadi'ah Savings product is implemented with the Wadi'ah Yad Dhamanah contract, namely a money custody contract where the person receiving the deposit must be responsible for loss or damage to the deposited money. The Wadi'ah contract implemented by BSI is in accordance with the MUI DSN Fatwa so that people are increasingly confident about entrusting their money to BSI.
