A Dataset Production for Fault Diagnosis of Mining Induction Motors
Induction motors in coal mines face tough conditions, leading to more frequent breakdowns than regular motors. These failures increase maintenance costs and hinder safe mining operations. This paper examines the YB3 series explosion-proof motors, common in coal mines, and introduces a fault modeling approach using Maxwell software to analyze induction motor faults. Finite element simulations calculate stator currents under various conditions, creating datasets for stator-rotor faults in mining motors. The dataset's utility is validated by comparing fault characteristic simulation results with calculated outcomes, offering data support for fault detection and diagnosis in mining induction motors.
