MAS-Based Decentralized Coordinated Control Strategy for Multiple Renewable Energy Sources
This paper suggests a multi-agent system (MAS)-based distributed coordinated control strategy for improving the grid voltage. Specifically, in the lower layer, it is devised as a decentralized control with dual-loop control through inverters for each renewable energy source, involving droop control-based outer-loop power controller and fractional order proportionalintegral-derivative (FOPID)-based inner-loop current and voltage controllers. In the upper layer, it is aiming at achieving proportional power sharing and voltage consensus among all ERs by distributed coordinated control method. For this control manner, each coordinated control unit only requires system information about itself and neighbouring units. Simulation results prove the validity of the suggested strategy.
