Research on Modeling and Control Method for PMLSM Considering Asymmetric Mutual Inductance

Due to end effects and segmented structure, permanent magnet linear synchronous motor (PMLSM) inevitably suffers from three-phase mutual inductance asymmetry and can cause harmonic disturbances in the current loop. In this article, it is analyzed through theoretical modeling that asymmetry in the abc axis can lead to 2-folder fundamental frequency disturbances in the dq-axis inductance. Based on this, the inhibitory effect of incremental prediction models on mutual inductance asymmetric disturbances was analyzed. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method in suppressing current harmonics and thrust fluctuations was verified through Simulink numerical simulation models. Simulation results showed that the second harmonic was reduced by 52.89% compared with the PI method, and 25.92% compared with the deadbeat predictive current control (DPCC) method.
