EVALUATION OF THE THRUST OF BRUSHLESS MOTORS ON A TEST BENCH
This work presents the thrust test of brushless motors on a test bench manufactured using 3D printing. The objective is to analyze the thrust, current, and electrical power of the Emax 2213 brushless motor. The study was developed from the design, planning, and fabrication of the test bench. The assembly of the electrical circuit for connecting the brushless motor was carried out, along with a speed increment technique of 10% at a time, simulating 2S (7.4V) and 3S (11.1V) batteries. All four tested motors performed below the manufacturer's proposed specifications. Motor 1 showed the best performance among the motors in both the 2S and 3S battery tests. With the latter battery, the thrust reached 638.5g, and the power was 108.9 W. These results highlight the need for maintenance and cleaning of brushless motors. The 3S battery is better suited for the project, providing a total maximum thrust of 2311g, double that of the 2S battery.
