Successful bacteriophage therapy of pyoderma caused by methicillin‐resistant Staphylococcus pseudintermedius in a dog
Pyoderma caused by methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus pseudintermedius poses significant challenges to canine health. Successful therapy requires an integrated approach to prudent antimicrobial use. This report describes the successful treatment of a dog with generalised superficial pyoderma using a topical formulation of S. pseudintermedius phage applied once daily for a period of 30 days.
