Distributed Event-Triggered Resilient Control of Multigent Systems with Scaling Denial-of-Service Attacks

This article tackles challenges of achieving secure distributed consensus in linear multiagent systems with dis-tributed scaling denial-of-service (SDoS) attacks in communica-ton channel among agents. Unlike traditional denial of service (DoS) attacks, sequential denial of service (SDoS) attacks exhibit a sequential pattern with parameters that vary depending on the channel, including scaling factor, frequency, and duration. To counter these attacks and achieve distributed consensus, this article proposes a distributed resilient event-triggered consensus control law. Additionally, an offline algorithm is developed to autonomously determine the control gain matrix. This article outlines the sufficient conditions for the frequency and duration of DoS attacks to achieve consensus. These theoretical findings are substantiated with a practical simulation example.
