Adavnced Door Locking System Using IOT

This research study presents the development of an “Advanced Door Locking System using IoT,” aimed at enhancing home security and energy efficiency. The system consists of a smart security box mounted on the front door of a residence. Equipped with a camera, gas sensor, and remote-control capabilities, the system responds to various security and safety needs. When a visitor presses the button on the box, the camera captures their image and sends it directly to the homeowner's device, allowing for instant identification. Additionally, the built-in gas sensor detects any gas leaks and promptly alerts the homeowner via email, improving safety against potential hazards. To prevent electricity wastage, the system automatically cuts off internal power supply when the door is closed. The IoT-enabled design further allows the user to control the door remotely, enabling secure access management from anywhere. This project demonstrates the integration of IoT with home security, offering a versatile solution that combines convenience, safety, and energy conservation.
