The enhancement laser dazzling effect induced by CW laser combined with nanosecond laser
The enhancement laser dazzling effect induced by CW laser combined with nanosecond laser is investigated experimentally. First, the process of nanosecond laser irradiated CCD is studied, the point damage and the line damage phenomenon of CCD is observed and the corresponding threshold was obtained, then the CW laser is used to dazzle the damage region of the CCD induced by nanosecond laser to investigated the enhancement effect. The results show that the thresholds of point saturation, crosstalk saturation and full-screen saturation of CCD dazzled by CW laser all decrease due to the damage induced by nanosecond, meanwhile, the more severe damage, the greater the decrease in these thresholds. Moreover, for the line damage CCD, the damage area widen after the CW laser dazzled to black screen and removed, the line damage effect of CCD induced by nanosecond is enhanced by CW laser dazzling, and degrade the whole imaging quality.
