A UAV Released Hanging on Solution towards Powerline Maintenance Robot
Live-line maintenance is a critical approach to ensuring continuous power supply and system stability and maintaining the safe and stable operation of power systems and equipment. To improve the efficiency and safety of powerline maintenance robots up the line during live-line maintenance, this paper proposes a UAV released hanging solution. The line-hanging system designed under this solution utilizes a coaxial dual-rotor UAV as the flight platform and incorporates vision algorithms, such as power line extraction based on the LinkNet semantic segmentation network, to assist in fully automated hanging of the robot up lines device by the UAV. This solution effectively addresses practical issues such as the difficulty of deploying powerline maintenance robots onto power lines and the complexity of the mounting process for up-line devices. It holds significant theoretical and practical value for advancing the intelligence of power maintenance and enhancing the stable operation of transmission lines.
