Research on the influence of weather on solar vehicles based on the comparison of telemetry data and simulation data
Electric vehicles are gaining more popular due to the serious environmental problems. Solar panel cars, despite their environmental benefits, face issues like low energy transformation efficiency and short driving range. This report analyzes data from the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge, where the DUSC team completed a 3024 km solar-powered journey across Australia. The study aims to improve the simulation tool based on environmental conditions, using real-world telemetry and simulation data to optimize solar vehicle performance and provide insights for future advancements in solar car technology.
