Model Predictive Power Control of Grid-Connected Converter Based on Double-Vector Modulation
In recent years, model predictive control has been widely used in converters because of its high robustness and fast dynamic response. However, the conventional model predictive control uses only one voltage vector in each control period, resulting in a high current harmonic content. To solve this problem, this paper proposes to use two voltage vectors in each control period. Based on maintaining great dynamic performance and robustness of the model predictive control, the harmonic content is reduced. This paper introduces the principle of double vector modulation in detail. By defining the reference voltage vector and combining the position relation of the voltage vector, it is theoretically proved that the effectiveness of double vector is better than single vector modulation. Finally, the simulation results further prove the effectiveness of this method.
