Clutter Suppression Method for Passive Bistatic Radar Based on Clutter Time Delay Estimation
With the rapid development of various electronic interference technologies in modern warfare, PBR has gradually become a research hotspot in the field of radar in recent years, due to their layout mode of separate transmitter and receiver, which enables covert detection, flexible deployment, and strong battlefield survivability. However, because of this layout pattern, PBR also faces a large amount of short-range multipath and ground clutter interference during operation, causing targets to be submerged in the clutter and difficult to identify. In response to the above issues, this paper improves the classical time-domain clutter suppression method ECA by using clutter time delay estimation method, solving the problem of traditional ECA suppressing targets mixed in while suppressing short-range clutter. Simulation and measured data verify the effectiveness of this method.
