Structural design analysis of hybrid multi-rise buildings, with CLT and LGS light weight floor system, at Neom-The Line

Abstract. Aligned with Neom's vision, this study focuses on the structural design of advanced multi-rise buildings at The Line (Neom) and compares the integration of Light Gauge Steel (LGS) and Cross-Laminated Timber (CLT) floor systems within Reinforced Concrete (RC) structures to determine their structural efficiency and suitability. The research involves design and analysis of structural elements (slabs, beams, columns, shear walls) and study their performance verification using ETABS and SAP2000 software. The aim is to identify the optimal solution for structural performance and sustainability within the context of Saudi Vision 2030 to meet the structural demands while achieving sustainable development goals.
