Research and Application of Cable Partial Discharge Localization Method Based on Particle Filtering
Due to the influence of factors such as electromagnetic noise in the cable operation environment, the existing methods for locating partial discharges in cables have large errors. To further reduce the localization error of cable partial discharge sources, a method for locating cable partial discharges based on multiple detection methods and data fusion has been proposed. By comprehensively utilizing ultrasonic detection and HFCT (High Frequency Current Transformer) detection techniques, a cable partial discharge localization method based on particle filtering is proposed. This method collects ultrasonic and HFCT data for feature value fusion and resampling, and filters out electromagnetic interference in the cable operating environment to improve the localization accuracy of partial discharge signals. Through experimental verification, compared with traditional trial estimation localization methods, this method can improve the cable partial discharge localization accuracy to within 2 meters under conditions of severe environmental interference and limited sampling rates of detection equipment, effectively enhancing the localization accuracy of partial discharge signals and reducing localization errors.
