La formación para la investigación educativa en los posgrados: condiciones institucionales
Research training in education is a key thematic area of COMIE. This study examines research training in education as a complex personal development process that integrates individual elements, factors, and institutional conditions. Within this framework, the research focuses on analyzing research training and institutional conditions in postgraduate education programs at the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo (UAEH), a Mexican public university striving for internationalization. The study applies the theory of training to educational research, constructing three categories and five analytical levels. Preliminary results indicate that UAEH’s postgraduate programs have institutional documents to assess the research training of applicants. However, these documents primarily serve as administrative requirements, resulting in a missed opportunity to gradually explore and enhance research training in education.
