Comparison Of Physics Forceps with Conventional Forceps in Orthodontics Extractions: A Randomized Control Clinical Study
The Goal of exodontia extends beyond mere tooth removal to encompass the preservation of alveolar bone and gingival structure. This necessitates a heightenedss awareness of innovative surgical techniques and tools aimed at making dental procedures more predictable and less traumatic for patients. One such technique is the utilization of 'PHYSICS FORCEPS', which aims to minimize damage and reduce the extent of resorption typically associated with tooth extraction. Despite its potential benefits, there is limited research evaluating the efficacy of physics forceps compared to conventional extraction methods, highlighting the need for further investigation into its role in atraumatic extraction The Physics forceps is new innovation that have been introduced on to the market. Once the operator is familiar with the movement of the wrist and direction of application of force, the process of extraction becomes simple. We are of the opinion that physics forceps can be used as a helpful aid in atraumatic extraction in orthodontic extraction
