Landscape Evaluation of Bohe Fishing Port in Maoming City, China Based on Analytic Hierarchy Process
This study took Bohe Ancient Fishing Port in Maoming City, China as the research object and adopted the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to construct a landscape evaluation system including 4 criterion layers and 14 index factor layers for this fishing port. The evaluation results indicated that: (1) The weights in the criterion layer in descending order were: weaving and combing life networks B1 (0.3164), straightening out the governance mechanism B4 (0.2872), awakening the cultural base B2 (0.2274), and injecting vitality through innovations B3 (0.1689). (2) The highest and lowest importance values in the indicator factor layer were: ecological improvement (0.1221) and implanting market elements (0.0134) in B1, multi-party participation under the leadership of the government (0.1656) and bottom-up public participation (0.0549) in B4, functional regeneration of historical buildings (0.0929) and creation of historical and cultural corridors (0.0577) in B2, and functional regeneration of historical buildings (0.0929) and creation of historical and cultural corridors (0.0577) in B3. (3) Based on the results obtained from the evaluation system, this paper proposed to strengthen the traffic management of the fishing port, optimize the architectural renewal of the sea-facing section of the fishing port, and improve the cultural connotations of the fishing port.
