Enhancing Emission Control With Environmental Engineering Services in a Sustainable Fuzzy Inventory Model
Objectives: To present a sustainable fuzzy inventory model that can mitigate emissions and optimize the total cost of inventory processes. Methods: To manage uncertainty, this study considers the cost parameters as heptagonal fuzzy numbers and then applies the sub-interval average method to optimize the total inventory cost. Findings: From the numerical example solution results, it is clear that the study arrives at a reduced total inventory cost value in the sub-interval average method. Novelty: This sustainable fuzzy inventory model adds environmental engineering services costs to mitigate hazardous carbon emissions and pollutants in inventory operations. 2020 Mathematics subject classification: 90B05 Keywords: Emission control, Engineering services, Fuzzy, Inventory, Sustainability
