Research on the Multidimensional Evaluation Model of Regulation Capability and Power Supply Configuration in the East China Power Grid
The regulation capability of the power grid is a crucial factor in integrating renewable energy into the electrical system. To meet the requirements for peak shaving and energy storage performance posed by the large-scale integration of intermittent renewable energy into the grid, it is essential to develop a model for the multidimensional evaluation of grid regulation capabilities. This paper constructs a multidimensional evaluation model for the regulation capability of the East China Power Grid by considering thermal power operation indicators, renewable energy operation indicators, external power transmission base operation indicators, system operation indicators, and regional development indicators. The entropy weight method is employed to calculate the weights of the regulation capability evaluation indicators for different provinces and cities in the East China Power Grid. An evaluation and analysis of the grid's regulation capability is conducted. The application of the model in three provinces of East China demonstrates that the multidimensional evaluation model based on the regulation capability indicator system can provide recommendations for capacity configuration under different power transmission plans. This approach contributes to optimizing the energy structure and achieving energy conservation, emission reduction, the safe, stable, and economically efficient operation of the power system. The findings offer valuable insights for the future development of external power imports, as well as the planning of power supply and grid development in the East China Power Grid.
