Research on Multi-objective Optimization of Electric Vehicle One-Pedal-Driving Pedal Characteristics
Pedal characteristics are the core of EV one pedal mode control, directly affecting vehicle driving performance, energy feedback efficiency, operating condition coverage, comfort and other performance. As an integrated pedal system, multifactor coupling and changing operating conditions make it difficult to optimize the design of EV one-pedal characteristics considering multiple objectives. Therefore, this paper conducts a multi-objective multi-mode optimization design and comprehensive evaluation study for the one-pedal PedalMap. A PedalMap optimization design method based on a particle swarm optimization algorithm is proposed to improve the pedal characteristic’s adaptability to variable working conditions, the comfort of one-pedal braking, and economy. Finally, simulation verifies the effectiveness and rationality of the proposed PedalMap optimization method, which has high working condition coverage and good comfort, and the average economy of the EV is improved by $\mathbf{3. 2 6 \%}$, the pedal sensitivity is reduced by 15%, the pedal linearity is improved by 1.3% on average, which significantly improves the driving comfort, and the coverage of working conditions is also improved.
