Wide-Beam Synthetic Aperture Radar Down-Look Imaging
Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) down-look imaging is widely used for sea surface observation. In recent years, the application of down-look imaging has gradually expanded to land areas. Wide beam can be used to obtain detailed topographic information. However, wide beam will cause the problem of azimuth spatial-variation. In this paper, a wide-beam SAR down-look imaging algorithm is proposed. The proposed algorithm can effectively solve the problem of range migration caused by aircraft motion and the problem of spatial-variant caused by wide beam. Experiments validates the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
