Research on the Application of Bearing Fault Diagnosis Based on Envelope Analysis

Rolling bearings are important components in the field of rotating machinery, and their fault diagnosis is of great significance for the safe and reliable operation of equipment. This article analyzes the vibration mechanism and characteristic frequencies of rolling bearings, and elaborates on the envelope analysis method for diagnosing rolling bearing faults. Two methods, Fourier transform and envelope analysis are used to analyze the bearing test data from Case Western Reserve University, and extracting fault characteristic frequencies to evaluate vibration signals. The analysis results indicate that the envelope analysis method can effectively identify the fault location of rolling bearings. The envelope analysis method is used to detect the vibration signals of machine tool spindle bearings in engineering practice. This method can effectively predict the health status and fault location of spindle bearings. The research method can be extended to other fields of bearing fault diagnosis and has important engineering application value.
