Distributed 5G distribution network differential protection scheme based on “State Grid Core” lightweight encryption
In order to enhance the safe and stable operation capability of distribution networks with a large number of distributed power sources connected, research on differential protection for distribution networks is constantly deepening. The application of 5 G wireless communication technology in differential protection scenarios of distribution networks is gradually becoming widespread due to its advantages such as low latency and large bandwidth. However, compared with traditional fiber optic solutions, the security issues of 5 G wireless networks are also becoming increasingly prominent. In response to this, this article studies a lightweight encryption scheme based on the “State Grid Core”. By installing a secure TF card in the external 5G CPE of the protection device and using the State Grid encryption algorithm, the security of terminal access and business data transmission is improved. At the same time, due to the sensitivity of distribution network differential protection services to latency, adopting lightweight encryption schemes can also minimize the latency loss caused by data encryption and decryption.
