Impact of complex working conditions caused by the superposition of photovoltaic access and system short circuit on the operation of distribution network surge arresters
In recent years, a large number of photovoltaic (PV) power sources have been connected to the distribution network, and the study of line voltage fluctuations caused by them has become a hot spot. However, there is still a lackof understanding of the complex working conditions caused by overvoltage superimposed on the system voltage fluctuation caused by PV access when short-circuit faults occur in the distribution network. This paper builds a simulation calculation model of overvoltage in substation with PV access. The above calculated overvoltage waveforms are applied to the arrester current capacity calculation module built in this paper to analyze its effect on the thermal charge transfer value of the arrester. For containing a large number of photovoltaic access to the distribution network arrester under the complex operating conditions have a more in-depth understanding of the guide for the distribution network arrester selection provides a method to guide.
