Study on the Influence of the Central Machine Room of the Direction Finding Site on the Direction Finding Accuracy

This paper discusses the impact of the presence or absence of an above-ground/ground central machine room on the direction finding accuracy. The accuracy of the direction finding system depends largely on factors such as antenna layout, environmental interference, and signal processing capabilities. As the core control and data processing center of the direction finding system, the location and physical characteristics of the aboveground or underground central machine room may have different degrees of impact on the direction finding accuracy. However, relevant research has not yet reached a clear conclusion on this issue. In order to explore the impact of the construction method of the central machine room on the direction finding accuracy, this study analyzed the impact of the above-ground and underground central machine rooms on the direction finding accuracy under different conditions through simulation experiments. The simulation results show that if the above-ground central machine room is located at or near the center of the antenna array, the direction finding accuracy may decrease due to changes in the signal path and environmental interference, while the underground central machine room can better shield external interference and reduce the adverse effects on the direction finding accuracy.
