A System Design Method for Adaptive Selection of Imaging Modes in Spaceborne SAR Echo Simulation
In this paper, a new parameter design method for spaceborne SAR echo simulation is discussed. Existing system parameter design methods often rely on experience to roughly determine the imaging mode first, and then calculate the system parameters for individual imaging mode, with high complexity and uncertainty. For the four modes mainly used in spaceborne SAR imaging, namely strip, spotlight, sliding spotlight and TOPS, this paper proposes a method that can adaptively select imaging mode according to the requirements of azimuth scene swath width and azimuth resolution, and analyze the trend of the imaging modes with the changes of the two indicators. The echo simulation and imaging verification of the design results obtained with multiple sets of indicators meet the requirements of the initial input, proving the effectiveness of the method described in this paper.
