Improved model predictive torque control based on deadbeat principle
Aiming at the shortcomings of traditional model predictive torque control, such as a large amount of calculation and cumbersome weight coefficient setting, based on deadbeat theory, an improved model predictive torque control strategy is suggested. Based on the deadbeat control principle of torque and flux linkage, the eight candidate vectors of traditional model predictive torque control are reduced to two, which lowers the system’s computation burden. At the same time, the reference voltage tracking error is used to replace the torque and flux tracking error as the objective function, which eliminates the MPTC weight coefficient and simplifies the system structure. An improved Euler equation with a prediction correction function is proposed to increase the accuracy of current prediction even further. The results of the simulation demonstrate that the suggested enhanced model predictive control can lower the number of calculations required by the traditional MPTC and has good control performance.
