Research on Optical Performance Calibration and Evaluation of Partial Discharge Optical Sensors
Partial discharge (PD) is a significant precursor to electrical insulation failures in high-voltage equipment. Accurate detection of PD is essential for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of power systems. Optical sensors have gained prominence in PD detection due to their non-contact measurement capabilities, strong immunity to electromagnetic interference, and fast response times. However, the optical performance of these sensors, including sensitivity, spectral response, and dynamic range, requires systematic calibration and evaluation to ensure accurate and reliable results.
