Comprehensive Evaluation of Grid-Connected Performance of Supportive Wind Farms Based on Game Theory and Improved TOPSIS

To quantitatively evaluate the frequency/voltage support effectiveness of supportive new energy stations, a set of evaluation indicators for quantifying the station’s performance is proposed, taking into account power support density and energy support density. Based on the output characteristics of grid-forming control (GFM) units at new energy stations, evaluation indicators are established, considering their interdependencies. The Bayesian BWM and CRITIC methods are used to determine the basic weights of these indicators. These weights are then combined using game theory and integrated into an improved TOPSIS model for a graded assessment of grid integration performance. Simulations using the Southern Xinjiang Power Grid model show the proposed evaluation system effectively compares the grid integration of following and grid-forming stations.
