Current Measurement Technology Based on Non-Invasive Magnetic Ring-Free Magnetic Sensor Array
The circular magnetic sensor array was once an important tool for precise current measurement, but with the development of technology, its design flaws are becoming increasingly apparent. The layout of cables passing through the center of the array creates operational difficulties in narrow or complex environments, therefore the design of circular arrays needs further updates and iterations. This study designed a novel current measurement technology based on non-invasive magnetic ring free magnetic sensor array. This technology arranges a zigzag magnetic sensor array consisting of three magnetic chips around the cable.By analyzing the magnetic induction intensity and combining it with the three chip algorithm, accurate measurement of current is achieved. In this article, multiple sets of simulation experiments were designed based on this technology. The experiment evaluated the accuracy of this technology in current measurement by comparing the measured current and the actual current size given different current values. At the same time, the sensor array was placed in multiple different spatial positions, and the current measured at different positions was compared to verify the performance characteristics of this technology that are independent of spatial position. The experimental results of this article indicate that the technology has the feasibility of accurately measuring current values.
