A line loss management strategy for distributed photovoltaic participating in the distribution area

In addressing the issue of discrepancies between peak loads in distribution areas and the peak active power of distributed photovoltaic (PV) systems causing power flow problems, this paper progresses to an analysis that combines sensitivity analysis with the examination of PV active power peak flows and the phenomena induced by voltage changes at certain nodes in the region. The strategy improves line losses, and its effectiveness is validated through simulation in a real-world scenario.

Abstract

In addressing the issue of discrepancies between peak loads in distribution areas and the peak active power of distributed photovoltaic (PV) systems causing power flow problems, this paper progresses to an analysis that combines sensitivity analysis with the examination of PV active power peak flows and the phenomena induced by voltage changes at certain nodes in the region. The strategy improves line losses, and its effectiveness is validated through simulation in a real-world scenario.
