Design of Underwater Acoustic Localization Device based on Beamforming
In response to the issues of high cost and difficulty in deployment associated with underwater acoustic positioning devices in modern underwater positioning applications, this paper simulates a model for receiving signals underwater using a uniform linear array. A conventional beamforming-based underwater acoustic positioning device is designed and experimentally validated. The results indicate that this device features low power consumption, low cost, and quick response.
