Fitting Performance Analysis of Electromagnetic Scattering Data Based on the Scattering Center Model
The scattering of a target can be equivalent to the sum of a series of scattering centers. Using the scattering center model to describe the complex scattering coefficient can effectively reduce the size of the scattering characteristic description file and achieve data compression. This paper analyzes and compares the compression performance of various scattering center models in relation to broadband two-dimensional scattering characteristics. Building upon an introduction to different scattering center models, we establish a unified process for estimating scattering parameters that effectively determines the parameters associated with each model. The research findings indicate that, from a compression effectiveness standpoint, both the ideal scattering center model and attribute-based scattering center model demonstrate exceptional performance; thus, they should be prioritized in practical applications.
