An Insight into Fractional Order Filter Design using Current-mode active devices
The field of mathematics known as fractional calculus focuses on generalising differentiation and integration to arbitrary orders. A fractional order circuits is dependent on fractional order. Most notably, fractional order circuits have more degrees of freedom than integer order circuits. When processing analogue signals, you may choose between two modes: voltage and current. A promising area of research is the development of fractional order filters and oscillators using active devices such as various operational trans resistance amplifiers, current conveyors, and more. The aforementioned design strategies have been the subject of much study, but more is definitely required. A comparative analysis of the various filter design techniques has been performed.
