On the SWIPT Based Task Offloading Strategy of Multi-User D2D Assisted Mobile Edge Computing
In the SWITP-based mobile edge computing (MEC) system, the device-to-device (D2D) communication technology is adopted to alleviate the performance load of MEC server caused by massive user requirements. A SWITP-based multi-user D2Dassisted MEC system model is constructed. Based on the model, a D2D-assisted MEC task offloading strategy is proposed to minimize the total energy consumption of requesting users under the constraints of data transmission rate, uplink transmission rate threshold and energy harvesting. In this strategy, the optimization problem is modeled as a nonlinear mixed integer programming problem. Firstly, the original problem is divided into two sub-problems: power allocation and task offloading. And then, the optimal power allocation scheme and optimal task offloading scheme are obtained by Dinkelbach method and Hungarian algorithm. Simulation results show that the proposed strategy can effectively reduce the energy consumption of requesting users, which shows that to a certain extent D2D communication technology can improve the system performance.
