Simulation and Design of a Rural Biomass and Solar Energy Combined Heating System Based on TRNSYS

This study mainly uses TRNSYS to simulate and design the rural biomass solar energy combined heating system. Through system design and simulation research, the heating performance of the heating system is studied by taking a typical rural residence in Lanzhou as an example. The results show that during the entire heating season, the solar thermal system collects 1181.98 kW of heat, the biomass boiler provides 8648.07 kW of heat, and the total heat supply of the combined system is 9830.05 kW, meeting the total heat load demand of 9692.8 kW for typical buildings. The system fully considers the characteristics of rural residents’ demand for a dynamic thermal environment, has good adaptability and adjustability, and provides practical design and simulation experience for the application of renewable energy and clean energy in the field of heating. Finally, the research content of this paper is summarized and discussed, and the limitations of this study and future suggestions are proposed.
