Research on Low Speed Control Strategy of PMSM Drive System Based on MMC

The application of modular multilevel converters in high-power motor drives will face the problem of excessive capacitor voltage fluctuations during motor startup and lowspeed conditions. This paper proposes an improved hybrid injection method for phase voltage harmonics that can reduce capacitor voltage fluctuations while reducing high-frequency circulating current injection, and verifies the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy through simulation.

Abstract

The application of modular multilevel converters in high-power motor drives will face the problem of excessive capacitor voltage fluctuations during motor startup and lowspeed conditions. This paper proposes an improved hybrid injection method for phase voltage harmonics that can reduce capacitor voltage fluctuations while reducing high-frequency circulating current injection, and verifies the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy through simulation.
