Review of Research on Integrated Energy Efficiency Management of Energy Internet Based on Digital Twin

The 2024 National Energy Internet Conference was held in Beijing on June 20, with the theme of “AI-enabled energy internet, innovative development and new quality productivity” [1]. As a solution for sustainable development of energy in the future, the concept of energy Internet has received wide attention since its introduction. This paper firstly analyzes the research background of energy development under the current global environmental problems, and then summarizes the research results and development ideas of energy Internet in the United States, Germany and China, and proposes the future development and research direction of energy Internet in the context of the “dual-carbon goal”. The future development and research direction of Energy Internet under the “dual-carbon goal” is proposed. Finally, it focuses on the application of digital twin technology in the Internet of Energy.
