An Efficient Multi-Antenna Wideband Digital Channelization Structure for FPGA Implementation
Digital channelization plays an important role in passive sensing. In this paper, a novel efficient multi-antenna digital channelization structure for FPGA implementation is proposed. From the perspective of time division multiplexing, pipelines are designed to process the whole data from all antennas in turn without delay. In this proposed structure, the polyphase filter module and the parallel FFT module are divided into a small block by time division recalling for complexity reduction. This pipeline-based structure ensures the data are processed sequentially within limited number of FPGA clocks, and significantly reduces the number of complex multiplications, which facilitates the implementation in resource-limited FPGA.
