Collaborative Transfer Operation Strategy for Flexible Interconnected Systems Considering Transient Stability

During the operation of flexible interconnected systems, directly regulating the transmission power of the converter based on the power flow calculation results may pose a risk of transient instability. Therefore, this paper studies an operational strategy for phased regulation of transmission power in a flexible interconnected system. Firstly, establish a power flow optimization model for flexible interconnected systems and solve for the target power commands of each converter. Then, the mixed potential function theory is used to analyze and determine whether there is a risk of transient instability during the process of switching from the initial power to the target power of each converter. If there is a risk of instability, it is necessary for each converter to cooperate with each other, select intermediate transition power commands based on the attraction domain, and perform power regulation in stages to maintain the stable operation of the system. Finally, simulation experiments were conducted based on MATLAB/Simulink, and the results showed that the collaborative staged control strategy can avoid transient instability risks without changing the system circuit or control parameters.
