One-Bit Quantization with Sub-Nyquist Sampling: A Low-Complexity Receiver Design in ISAC System
In this paper, a low-complexity receiver is designed for low-priced hardware implementation in the integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) system. The receiving antennas are sparsely located, and the signal is sampled with low-resolution and low-sampling rate analog-to-digital converters (ADCs). An orthogonal frequency division multiplexing-based ISAC waveform is considered where preambles are used for target sensing. Range, Doppler and direction-of-arrival are estimated via a block-sparse quantized orthogonal matching pursuit (BS-QOMP) method. Numerical results show that the estimation performance of the proposed scheme degrades 8.5 dB compared with the conventional design, while having a 74 dB reduction in power consumption. And the localization error under the practical base station (BS) setting is 0.2 m for the target located 400 m away from the BS.
