Non-contact Lung Sound Vibration Sensing Based On FMCW Radar
Lung sounds are crucial diagnostic indicator, providing valuable pathological and physiological information about the respiratory system. Traditional lung sound measurement is contact-based, which has various drawbacks such as cross-infection and patient discomfort. In view of the characteristics of weak, time-varying, and wide bandwidth of lung sound vibration, this paper designs and verifies a lung sound auscultation simulator and studies a radar-based non-contact lung sound vibration sensing method based on non-contact vital sign detection. Various experiments based on samples from the ICBHI 2017 database show that lung sound vibration can be sensed using millimeter-wave radar.
