Non-Singular Terminal Sliding Mode Speed Controller for Five-Phase Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors Based on Dual-Planes
The speed regulation problem of five-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor (FPPMSM) control system based on two-plane vector control is investigated. The mathematical model of FPPMSM in the natural coordinate system is established, and the decoupling of the excitation current component and the torque current component is realised by Clark and Park coordinate transformations, so as to obtain the mathematical model in the rotating coordinate system, and the dual-plane vector control strategy is designed accordingly. In response to the susceptibility of the FPPMSM speed control system to load disturbances, a non-singular fast terminal sliding mode surface is designed by combining nonlinear functions with linear functions. Subsequently, a speed loop sliding mode controller is designed using the second-order model of the angular velocity and the q -axis stator reference current, which achieves rapid convergence of errors at different stages and avoids the singularity issue of the terminal sliding mode surface. Simulation results in matlab/Simulink have demonstrated the superiority of the nonsingular fast terminal sliding mode control (NFTSMC) strategy over the conventional PI control strategy. The optimization of both dynamic responsiveness and steady-state efficacy of the FPPMSM is paramount for ensuring its robust and efficient performance across diverse operational scenarios. This research endeavor not merely augments the corpus of multiphase motor control theories, but also furnishes essential technological underpinnings for achieving precision-oriented speed control applications.
